The 2nd annual David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic was another great success!

We're proud to report that with the generosity of all our sponsors, guests and auction participants, the event netted over $225,000 for the David Ortiz Children’s Fund. Thank you!

The event kicked off with a Welcome Reception on Thursday evening where guests were able to mix and mingle with all of the celebrities in attendance.

The fun didn’t stop all weekend - from the moment guests arrived at the beautiful Sanctuary Cap Cana through our (every night) late-night pool parties and Sunday Farewell brunch, memories of a lifetime were made. Even more important - it was a great time for a great cause!

As one would expect, the setting was beautiful, the weather was fabulous and the competition was fierce. First place trophies and bragging rights went to team Claro of Alejandro Jovene, Jose Hernandez, Leo Sanchez and Rafael Chireno, captained by Colorado Rockies pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez. Second place went to Philadelphia Phillies Second Baseman Placido Polanco, Mark Clouse, Jeff Neal, Jose Mercedes and Tiffany Ortiz.

Third place went to Actor Jeffrey Donovan and the team from MedCare Pharmacy of Tim Ford, Jack Wells, Mike Estes and Ben Finneran.
